In case your muddy, powerful, and handsomely rugged Jeep doesn’t scream, “I LOVE OFF-ROADING, AWW YEAH!” loudly enough, then Mopar’s Jeep Custom Hood Decals should do the trick. What are these magical, scream-enhancing decals, you ask? They’re actually pretty cool pre-configured maps of popular trails (or your own secret locations) that can be placed upon the hood of your Jeep using an online customizable tool.
Drivers can either enter in a location and pull up a map, then customize it by dragging it around and zooming in or out, or they can go with one of the pre-made maps, like Hell’s Revenge, Poison Spider, and the Rubicon Trail. In addition, drivers can opt for a compass or a bullseye, as well as choose from two border colors on the hood decals.
“Mopar’s new Jeep Custom Hood Decals allow owners to literally place their imprint on a vehicle and display the geography of their Jeep passion for the entire world to see,” explained Pietro Gorlier, President and CEO of Mopar, Chrysler Group LLC’s service, parts and customer-care brand. “Jeep Custom Hood Decals are just the latest in a portfolio of Jeep Performance Parts products that help Jeep vehicle owners to personalize their rides for the street and trail.”
These Jeep Custom Hood Decals will fit a wide range of model year vehicles. Specifically, they can be applied to 2007 – 2015 Jeep Wranglers, 2014 – 2015 Jeep Cherokees, and 2011 – 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokees. While the decals are durable (produced with premium 3M films), they are still protected against fading or defect under a three-year warranty.
“The Jeep brand is teaming with Mopar to help owners personalize their vehicles in a way that supports their passion for off-road and on-road fun,” said Mike Manley, President and CEO, Jeep Brand, Chrysler Group LLC. “We know Jeep owners appreciate new ways to make their vehicles unique, and these hood decals are just the latest offering to help them accomplish that.”
The custom decals are available now in the U.S. market, with an MSRP of $295, plus installation.
