The ever-expanding lineup of special edition Silverados continues to grow. Today Chevy debuted the latest addition, the 2016 Silverado Rally Edition, at the Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth.

The 2016 Chevy Silverado Rally Edition will be made available later this month. Inspired by trends seen in street-performance trucks, the Rally features a monochromatic exterior with black accents, bold hood and body-side stripes, and black 20- or 22-inch wheels.

The Rally Edition joins the camouflaged, outdoorsy Realtree Edition and the sleek, all-black Midnight Edition that were introduced earlier this year.

“We introduced several special editions in 2015—each combining equipment and appearance packages designed for specific enthusiasts in mind,” said Chevrolet truck marketing manager Sandor Piszar. “They clearly resonated with buyers, selling in one-third the time—and attracting new, younger, and more affluent buyers to the brand—than the industry average.”

“They also helped make Chevrolet the fastest-growing truck brand in the industry,” Piszar added. “In 2015, total Chevrolet truck sales increased 27 percent—double the increase for the total truck market. As we expand our lineup of special editions for 2016, we expect to continue that momentum.”

Chevy will capitalize on the Rally Edition’s debut by bringing four Silverado special editions to Texas Motor Speedway for this weekend’s Duck Commander 500 race, each of them paired with a different Chevrolet Racing driver.

Dale Earnhardt, Jr. will be campaigning for the new Rally Edition, Austin Dillon will be promoting the Realtree Edition that goes on sale this spring, and Kyle Larson and Kasey Kahne have been paired with the 1500 and 2500 Midnight Edition, respectively.
