FCA Aims to Become the Talk of Detroit with its New Ram 1500 Rebel Black
While Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) chose the Consumer Electronics Show as the platform to show off its new infotainment system, the automaker will still be making a trip to the Detroit Auto Show to preview its new Ram 1500 Rebel Black special edition pickup truck.

This truck will come equipped with many unique features, including black heated seats with distinctive Rebel stitching, black wheels, and black brush guards. This special edition model will be available in all Rebel color options and consumers will have the choice between a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 or a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine.
The Ram 1500 Rebel Black will also feature black anodized bezels throughout the interior to further enforce the all-black theme. For even more luxury and elegance, Ram is making black leather Katzkin seats available for its newest special edition truck.
“Adding the Rebel Black package to an already aggressive off-road truck will continue feeding the momentum Rebel is creating for the Ram Truck brand,” said Mike Manley, Head of Jeep Brand and Ram Brand, FCA – Global. “The Ram Rebel is unique in the full-size truck segment with 33-inch off-road tires, air suspension and custom interior details.”
Besides all of the equipment listed above, the Ram 1500 Rebel also comes equipped with tow hooks, Bilstein shocks, and skid plates. All of those features work together to make the Rebel a confident truck in off-road situations.
The Rebel Black is scheduled to reach US dealerships in March of this year. The V6-equipped model will carry a starting MSRP of $45,590, which does not include the $1,320 destination fee.
