Although cars fuel most people’s lives, stopping for gas can be a cumbersome and often last-minute chore. But without a full tank of gas, most drivers’ lives are effectively stalled. To help eliminate the frustration and time-consuming yet necessary task of stopping for gas for drivers in select cities, the Silicon Valley start-up Yoshi is bringing the gas to them.

Currently, drivers in Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas/Ft. Worth, D.C., Houston, Los Angeles, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Nashville, Raleigh-Durham, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, St. Louis, Tampa/St. Petersburg, and Warren can subscribe to the service. There is a monthly $20 membership fee in addition to the cost of fuel.

In addition to regular fuel-ups of Synergy fuel from Mobil and Exxon, Yoshi’s field technicians also provide car services to members such as car washes, oil changes, and wiper blade changes.

The company boasts that when you join forces with the service, you’ll be able to save $240 on gas each year, 33 hours of time (based on the time you’d normally give to car service appointments and gas station stops), and three trees.

“With Yoshi, the fuel comes to you and your tires are filled to the optimal level. The first eliminates your CO₂ contribution and the second optimizes your miles-per-gallon. With one year of Yoshi, you save the CO₂ that three trees would consume (over 150 pounds)!” reports Yoshi.
