The new 2019 Ford Edge has launched, bringing with it a whole slew of cutting-edge standard safety tech and, oh, not for nothing, a completely bonkers performance variant in the Ford Edge ST. The Edge is a product of Canada, so it should come as little surprise that it sells quite well there. November marked a new monthly record for the Edge with sales of 2,034 units, helping drive Ford Motor Company to the position of Canada’s best-selling brand for the month.

“We’re pleased by the consumer response to the new Ford Edge and Lincoln Nautilus, which are proudly built in Canada,” said Mark Buzzell, president and CEO, Ford of Canada, “Canadians are also excited about the all-new Ford Edge ST, with customer response towards Ford’s first performance utility being very positive.”

Lincoln also contributed with a 19 percent increase from the MKX and the all-new Lincoln Nautilus combined and a 30 percent gain for the Lincoln MKC.
