Edge Be Unstoppable Ad

Ford is looking to take over the airwaves and spread the good gospel of the all-new 2015 Ford Edge with its first ad campaign focusing on the vehicle it calls “better…by every measure.”

The campaign, entitled “Be Unstoppable,” focuses largely on…well, being unstoppable. Check it out:

The first spot features a female narrator offering up her thoughts on being able to thrive in a place as enormous as New York City: “2,434,311 people in this city, and only one me. I’ll take those odds.”

This segues into Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song,” which is ostensibly the campaign’s anthem. There are plenty of hero shots of a Bronze Fire Edge Titanium, emphasizing its handling and roominess along the way.

“Edge buyers want to conquer life, not just geography,” said Travis Calhoun, Ford marketing communications manager for trucks and utility vehicles. “They want to be unstoppable, and they want the right SUV that helps them feel empowered—every day, everywhere.”

The ad will appear on networks including Discovery, ESPN, Food Network, HISTORY, MSNBC, TBS and TNT. Additionally, an in-print equivalent will appear in publications such as Bloomberg Businessweek, Bon Appétit, Condé Nast Traveler, Elle Décor, Food & Wine, Golf Digest, GQ, Real Simple, Shape and Women’s Health.
