Ford kinda has this thing about going to SEMA and taking it over. At the 2015 SEMA Show, the Blue Oval picked up three major awards, with the Focus being named Hottest Sport-Compact, the Mustang earning the title of Hottest Car, and the F-Series being named Hottest Truck.

Based on all early indications, Ford has every intention of at least repeating that last feat in 2016. Ford has given up some information on four F-150s that will be on display at the show, offering just a taste of what we can expect in Sin City next month.

Ford’s certainly got a lot more in store: last year’s presence consisted of nearly 50 different vehicles, including seven F-150s, eight Mustangs, seven SUVs, and six Focus ST and Fiesta ST hatchbacks. With the addition of the Focus RS to the lineup, expect even crazier things when the 2016 SEMA Show gets underway on November 1st.

Let’s take a look at the first of four custom F-150s that’s fit to earn Ford another Hottest of SEMA award.

This F-150 is built upon a 2016 SuperCrew XLT 4×2 equipped with a 5.0-liter V8 mated to a six-speed automatic. The powertrain adds a Whipple supercharger, CGS Performance cat-back exhaust, and custom dual exhaust tips.

To play up that performance, Hulst Customs adds an air suspension with Aire Jax Four Play manual valves, as well as custom rear 4-link suspension and front custom brackets.

On the outside, the EraThr3 gets Striker Trucks Performance Products by Hulst Customs, including: bumper cover, grille, hood extractor vents, carbon splitter, lower side rockers, rear bumper, fender badges, and drop visor. Paint is provided by Southern Polyurethanes Inc., with supplies from Wyatt’s Automotive. The look is finished with custom bed details, Lexani “Monza” wheels, and Lexani tires.

On the inside, you’ll find a Katzkin Automotive Leather custom Zkintech series interior; specialized EraThr3 Lifestyle details; and Ford Licensed Accessories including Console Vault vehicle safe for valuables, a Kicker subwoofer for extra punch, and Lumen tablet headrest cradles for more entertainment than one could ask for.

This is but an hors d’oeuvres to prime your appetite for the main course. For more from the upcoming SEMA Show, stay tuned.
