Ford Touring Ford Championship Weekend with Minionwagon
Ford is taking its Transit Connect Wagon on the road for Ford Championship Weekend. But they’re not just bringing any Transit Connect Wagon; they’re bringing the Minionwagon.
A new Ford Transit Connect Wagon featuring the likeness of the Minions from Despicable Me will be touring the country this fall/winter in preparation for the digital and subsequent home video release of the Minions movie. This tour includes the presence of three Minions—Kevin, Stuart, and Bob—who will greet fans on Friday and Saturday at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
“Transit Connect Wagon—the #unminivan – is the perfect vehicle to accompany the Minions,” said Yaro Hetman, Ford brand manager for Transit, Transit Connect and E-Series. “Flexible seating, easy maneuverability and ample storage make it a great road trip van—for Minions and families!”
The Minionwagon will serve as the grand marshal vehicle for Ford EcoBoost 400 grand marshal Hoda Kotb, and then it will move on to Universal Orlando Resort, Atlanta, Philadelphia, and New York.
