General Motors Customer Care and Aftersales is working to improve upon my GM Partner Perks. GM CCA wants to make sure collision shops and repair facilities are able to offer the products that drivers need to get the most out of their vehicles.

The plan for my GM Partner Perks
The my GM Partner Perks program initially launched earlier in 2019. It has created a comprehensive parts loyalty program for enrolled collision shops and repair facilities. As such, these locations receive rewards for purchasing GM Accessories, GM Genuine Parts, Chevrolet Performance, and ACDelco.
So far, my GM Partner Perks has given over 6,500 members $3 million in rewards. With these rewards, independent aftermarket partners, direct accounts, and dealers can more easily do business with GM CCA.
Moving forward, GM CCA wants to better its product offerings and program so that they align with industry trends. In the U.S., IHS Markit says over 278 million light vehicles were operating on the road earlier this year, which is a record high amount. There’s also an aging vehicle population, which could help grow sales in the service and parts industry.
Beginning on Jan. 1, 2020, there will be enhancements to my GM Partner Perks. Members will have the ability to head to the my GM Partner Perks portal to partake in the new quarterly trade rebates’ streamlined process. With just a few simple clicks, members can engage in the process, which includes reviewing the parts purchase history and then approving it.
“GM is dedicated to launching innovative original equipment and aftermarket products that join a breadth of parts offerings, from maintenance and repair to collision, propulsion and performance,” said David Mestdagh, general director of global product management, GM CCA.

With the new program change, GM CCA intends to help members take advantage of GM original equipment parts and also plans to add new GM Genuine Parts to the market.
