Over the past month, we’ve learned the trim levels, color options, and starting MSRP for the all-new 2019 Chevrolet Blazer. Now, we’re finally getting the full scoop on how much the Blazer will cost beyond its base price. Hint: It’s not going to be cheap.
While the Chevy Blazer’s introductory L trim comes in at a reasonable $29,995, that number will go up considerably the moment you start considering higher trims.
The Blazer 1LT will cost $33,495. The 2LT, which adds a V6 option, will start at $34,495. A 2LT equipped with all-wheel drive will run you an extra $2,700 for a grand total of 37,195.
The Blazer RS will sport a starting price tag of $41,795, or $44,695 with AWD. A package of advanced safety features will add another $3,575.

At the top of the trim pile, the Blazer Premier will be priced at $43,895 ($46,795 with AWD). Additional advanced safety features will come via a $2,165 package, which would bring an AWD Premier up to a total of $48,960.
As it stands now, the Chevy Blazer’s entry-level trim comes in lower than its main competitors, the Nissan Murano and the Ford Edge. However, the Blazer’s higher trims come with higher prices than corresponding trims on the Murano and the Edge.
It remains to be seen if Chevy will dangle additional incentives and discounts to make up those price differences, or if buyers will pay up as they’re lured by the Blazer’s combination of newness and throwback name recognition.
