FYI, an Xbox for a Chevy is one Halo of a deal.

Someone raised their kid right. 13-year-old William Rabillo gave up his action video game lifestyle last month to aid his struggling single mother, Krystal Preston, with needed transportation.

Rabillo eyed a 1999 Chevy Metro on Facebook Marketplace and reached out to the seller. While he had nowhere near the amount the owner was asking, he offered what was most valuable to him.

Save Money: When you buy a new car using these tips

While his offer received an initial rejection, Rabillo’s trade of an Xbox, video games, and manual labor eventually won out.

Preston expressed “complete shock,” as she took to Facebook to share her son’s selfless, heroic act, calling him “a lawn mowing, yard cleaning, money making machine.” Her post included details on how he surprised her with pictures of Rabillo standing next to her new white four-door subcompact car.

Rabillo said that YouTube videos of children shocking their parents with the car of their dreams prompted him to seize the moment.

While the 1999 Chevrolet Metro may be outdated in the modern car world today, any mother would appreciate this display of generosity.

Owning a Chevrolet: Has its many rewards

Their family will make full use of this new car with two additional children and three dogs.

This car is only the beginning, as Preston continues to work hard in making ends meet for her family. If you would like to help, the family has a GoFundMe page that launched earlier this month. In 27 days, 263 people have given over $12,400.

We are positive Rabillo will be back in the video gaming world in no time.
