Honda has announced that it will be serving as the Host Company for the Society of Automotive Engineers’ (SAE) 2015 World Congress & Exhibition. The annual event, which highlights the auto industry’s role in driving the future of personal mobility, will be held this year at Cobo Hall in Detroit, Michigan, from April 21st through the 23rd.

“In collaboration with our Tier One strategic partner, Continental, we’re aiming to make this year’s World Congress a place where engineers from across the industry and around the world can collaborate, share their ideas about leading-edge technologies and gain new perspectives on important issues facing our industry,” the Japanese automaker revealed in a recent statement.

Honda has also stated that the company’s technological breakthroughs, from robotics to fuel cell vehicles, proves, “Honda’s deep commitment to advancing mobility for our customers and society.”
The theme for the 2015 SAE World Congress & Exhibition will be “Leading Mobility Innovation.”
