Hyundai Kona Tops J.D. Power Tech Rankings
The 2018 Hyundai Kona has been snapping up awards left and right. The all-new SUV’s latest honor comes from J.D. Power and recognizes the Kona’s outstanding technology features.
J.D. Power ranked the Kona highest in “overall satisfaction with new-vehicle technology” in the small segment as part of its 2018 U.S. Tech Experience Index Study. The study surveys drivers to measure their experiences and interactions with a variety of driver-centric vehicle technologies.

In J.D. Power’s study, the Hyundai Kona ruled several categories:
- Smartphone mirroring: The Kona offers standard Android Auto and Apple CarPlay technology so drivers can easily integrate their smartphones with the vehicle’s infotainment system.
- Entertainment and connectivity: The Kona’s 7-inch touch-screen infotainment system offers numerous available features like SiriusXM Radio, HD Radio, and Blue Link LTE-powered connectivity.
- Driving assistance: The Kona comes standard with a dynamic-guidance rearview camera, a Vehicle Stability Management system, Hill Start Assist Control, and LED Daytime Running Lights.
- Collision protection: The Kona features available activity safety features like Blind-Spot Collision Warning, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning, and Lane Change Assist.
