Isuzu Scores Again in Ipsos Quality Awards
Isuzu took home a number of awards in the recent Ipsos Quality Awards, including the honor of being named one of the top customer-rated brands in terms of sales and service in the Light Commercial Vehicle segment.
Isuzu earned gold awards in both the Purchasing Experience and Servicing Experience categories for Light Commercial Vehicles. What’s more, having earned the Light Commercial Vehicle Purchasing Experience award for four consecutive years, Isuzu was also awarded the platinum award for consistency in excellence.
“Putting the customer at the centre of everything we do, is one of our core values and we are pleased that Isuzu delivered on this promise. We continuously strive to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations and the IPSOS Award is testimony to this,” Brian Olson, General Motors Sub Saharan South Africa Vice President of Sales, Service, and Marketing. Olson was on-hand at the ceremony to accept the award from Ipsos’ Business Unit Director, Patrick Busschau.
The annual Ipsos awards determine the satisfaction of customers in terms of their purchasing and servicing experience. Awards are handed out in the categories of: Passenger Vehicle Purchasing Experience, Passenger Vehicle Servicing Experience, Light Commercial Vehicle Purchasing Experience, and Light Commercial Vehicle Servicing Experience.
The awards honor both the brand and the Isuzu KB pickup, which has been built in Port Elizabeth for almost 40 years.
“Our skilled workforce knows what it takes to build a bakkie. Over the decades the men and women on the lines have repeatedly proven their ability to not only build in durability, but quality too,” said Olson. “We pride ourselves in supporting our customers and their Isuzu’s with factory trained technicians, using only Genuine parts in our bakkies. Isuzu has an outstanding reputation for being trustworthy and reliable. We are committed to provide our customers with service of the highest standard.”
