Last year, Kia partnered with DonorsChoose.org to help bring educational resources into almost 500,000 public schools across the nation. They recently announced that they are extending their partnership with DonorsChoose.org for another year.
“Kia Motors America (KMA) has grown to become the eighth largest brand in the U.S. by volume, and as we grow, our culture and core values compel us to give back to the communities that we call home and contribute to a better future for all,” said Byung Mo Ahn, Group President and CEO of KMA and Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia.
With the renewed partnership underway, Kia announced they plan to donate a total of five million dollars to American schools. This includes books, chess sets, butterfly gardens, instruments, sports equipment, microscopes and many other needed classroom items.
The company will match customer donations at more than 765 of their retail showrooms. If you would like to help Kia and DonorsChoose.org bring resources to deserving children across the country then stop into your local Kia ealership and start donating.
