World's Most Attractive Employers

“Hey. How’s it going? You’re looking real good. Have you been working out? Get a new haircut? Not sure what it is, but something about you is just…I dunno…you look real good is all I’m trying to say. Very handsome.”

The above is what we imagine prospective employees are saying to the Ford Motor Company as result of the automotive and mobility company earning the title of one of Universum’s World’s Most Attractive Employers.

Ford jumped one spot from 2016 to the No. 12 spot among engineering students looking toward employment, while business students secured Ford a place among the top 50 most attractive employers by ranking it 42nd overall.

“The excitement we feel at Ford is real, and we are encouraged that talent around the globe is recognizing Ford as an attractive employer,” said Felicia Fields, group vice president, Human Resources. “As our world continues to change, our talent needs are becoming even more diverse, and this recognition from Universum confirms we are on the right path to attracting the talent we need.”

“To be published in the ranking is a true reflection of how strong an employer is globally and proof of strength in attracting and retaining the right talent,” said Petter Nylander, global CEO, Universum Group. “This year, we have seen a more varied employer list including new industries such as e-commerce, whereas the more established sectors like the energy industry have lost ground with this new generation of talent.”

Ford being an attractive employer is great, and if you are a candidate looking for work, it is acceptable to tell the company as much (within reason, of course).
