March Nissan Sales Make Company History
Last month, the Nissan Group recorded the best-ever monthly sales total in the company’s history, establishing itself as a force to be reckoned with in the car industry. With 136,642 deliveries in March, an increase of 7.9% increase over the prior year, Nissan proved that the inclement weather many states were experiencing this winter had no effect on the appeal of their vehicle lineup.
Helping Nissan reach this new company record, the Nissan Rogue crossover showed an increase of 26.3 percent increase, setting an all-time monthly record with 19,420 vehicles sold. One of Nissan’s best-selling sedans, the Sentra, also increased 38.4 percent year-over-year for March, while the all-electric Nissan LEAF set a March Nissan sales record with a 12.1 percent increase.
With the weather thawing even more so, as spring arrives with April showers, the likelihood of Nissan sales continuing to increase is high. We’ll be sure to verify that in early May.
