Nissan showcases latest Star Wars-themed show vehicleTo say that Nissan loves the Star Wars franchise would be the understatement of the century. The premiere of Star Wars: The Last Jedi was only a little over six months ago, which Nissan supported with a whole fleet of out-of-this-world show cars, but that hasn’t stopped the brand from putting its weight behind this weekend’s release of Solo: A Star Wars Story with a promotional campaign and a stunning new show car based on the Nissan Rogue.

The Rogue You Can Bring Home: Learn more about Nissan’s lineup of SUVs

While the Millennium Falcon has been in the last two of the films in the main Star Wars series, Nissan waited until now to roll out its own version of the iconic spaceship. The company took its bestselling 2018 Nissan Rogue and outfitted with many of the Millennium Falcon’s features. True fans will notice the shape of the ship’s cockpit’s window on the SUV’s windshield and the hyperdrive spanning the entire rear window of the Rogue that glows blue.

For the first time ever the Star Wars concept is even extended to the interior of the vehicle. There are buttons, sound effects, and lights to make passengers feel like they are really flying through space.

While the automaker also partnered with Disney’s A Wrinkle in Time with a trio of show vehicles, Nissan has certainly put the most effort into its support of this Disney-owned universe of characters and stories. Unfortunately, this Nissan Rogue Millennium Falcon is only a show vehicle and will not be showing up in Nissan showrooms anytime soon. If you want to build your own, we suggest you start off with the 2018 Nissan Rogue, which is on sale now.
