Minnesota Baby Survives a Fall from Moving Car
Baby overboard! Those are words you never see or hear every day.
A two-year-old Minnesota baby survives a fall out of the back seat of a moving car. You can watch the shocking event transpire in the dash cam footage below.
The above dashcam video belongs to witness Chad Mock. As soon as his car stops, you can see Chad running to the child’s rescue.

While the toddler’s mother continued to drive on, she later walked back to retrieve her little passenger after law enforcement and paramedics arrived on scene to check the toddler for injuries.
According to police, the child was strapped into the car seat, but the seat itself was not properly attached to the backrow seating area.
Fortunately, the child is ok after the tumble, but I cannot help but ask questions about this careless child care car incident.
Why was the left rear door open? Did the mother check to ensure the child’s car seat was secure? How long did it take the mother to realize something was wrong?
How To: Effectively drive your Mitsubishi in winter weather
This episode could have gone a tragic route, and I am grateful that it did not. However, all parents should follow common sense when installing a child’s car seat and buckling up their baby before driving off.
Check the car seat, close the door shut, and stay alert as all drivers should. You will save a life.
