General Motors Middle East has appointed Moly Peck its new Chief Marketing Officer. Peck previously served as Buick’s North American Director of Marketing for three years, a role in which she launched the brand’s popular and effective “That’s Not a Buick” advertising campaign.
“Molly’s credentials and expertise in her field speak for themselves, and we are delighted to have another strong leader join GM Middle East’s leadership,” said Mario A. Spangenberg, President and Managing Director of GM Africa and Middle East. “Providing a world class customer experience is paramount at GM, which is why we have entrusted this [role] to Molly. I have no doubt that she is ideally positioned to drive our projects to connect with customers in what is an important year for Chevrolet and GMC.”
Peck has filled a variety of key sales, advertising, and marketing roles for General Motors during her career, including Director of Advertising for Chevrolet and Director of Advertising and Sales Promotion for Cadillac. In these roles, she has earned a number of accolades: she was named to AdAge’s “Women to Watch” list in 2012, was among the Billboard Power 100 in 2013, and won the Gold EFFIE for her work on the Cadillac ATS launch campaign in 2012.
“With the advancements we see on the product, technology, and customer service fronts, it’s certainly an exciting time to be at GM Middle East,” said Peck. “I look forward to working with our teams and dealers to provide customers with experiences and vehicles that are truly world class.”
