The hilarious hamsters are up to their hip-hop hijinks once again, but this time the trio of Kia’s crunking critters are dancing in a new Kia Soul EV commercial (at the bottom of this post), rather than an ad for the traditional gasoline-powered Soul. Oh yeah, and they’re dressed like total nerds.
I’m not entirely sure, but it almost looks like the hamsters have put some weight back on since they decided to pursue an active lifestyle and listen to Lady Gaga. Check out last year’s slender hamsters for reference:
Weight gains and losses aside, the new Kia Soul EV commercial confirms for the world that these hamsters will look freaking adorable in whatever clothes you put them in. It also confirms that the Kia Soul EV is going to be incredibly awesome, but who didn’t know that already?
This new Kia Soul EV commercial also serves as a platform to release Maroon 5’s newest song, “Animal.” The collaboration isn’t much of a surprise, as both Maroon 5’s Adam Levine and Kia are both involved with The Voice on NBC. As part of the “Fully Charged” campaign, Kia is also offering 200,000 free downloads of the new song before it releases on iTunes. Get it here.
Go ahead and check out the hilarious “nerdy hamsters” as they try to attract new mates and explore the Kia Soul EV, and let me know what you think about their latest appearance in the comments below.
