The new Cadillac House in Shanghai will serve as an important embassy for the luxury brand in its biggest global market. Covering more than 21,000 square feet, this jewel-shaped building integrates cutting-edge architecture and design elements, interactive museum-like exhibits, and displays of the latest Cadillac vehicles.

“This sophisticated setting represents another important chapter for Cadillac,” said General Motors Chairman and CEO Mary Barra. “Cadillac is fully determined to affirm its status as the pinnacle of luxury and technology.”

The first floor of Cadillac House features Cadillac Arena, a multimedia display tracing the history and heritage of the brand, along with a Cadillac Life area highlighting partnerships with other designers and brands. The second floor showcases Cadillac technology and innovation with virtual reality areas and interactive exhibits like the Cadillac Soundscape, which features dozens of songs mentioning the brand. The third floor is home to an auditorium and a VIP lounge.

“Cadillac House provides customers an unmatched opportunity to learn about the technology, craftsmanship, cultural influence, manufacturing capability, and quality of the brand,” said Andreas Schaaf, Cadillac China’s vice president.

Cadillac House’s location across the street from the SAIC-GM Cadillac plant offers another unique opportunity. Customers are invited to watch their vehicle being assembled, then have it delivered in a special ceremony that takes place outside Cadillac House on a turntable at the center of a fountain.
