Fiat No Blue Pill Needed Commercial

The horny Italian man is back in Fiat’s newest commercial for the 2017 124 Spider

Fiat doesn’t hold back when it creates its commercials—and the brand’s award-winning “Blue Pill” Super Bowl commercial is testament to that. Using the taboo topic of Viagra to showcase the Fiat 500L, the Italian carmaker caught the attention of viewers across the country.

Because, really—there aren’t very many people who wouldn’t find a horny old man funny.

Now, that horny gentleman is back in the newest Fiat commercial—and he has a bit of help from the 2017 Fiat 124 Spider.

Like Fiat’s Super Bowl commercial, “No Blue Pill Needed” starts off with an elderly gentleman in an amorous situation—and in need of some… medicinal help from the magical blue pill. When he finds his bottle of blue pills empty, he’s heartbroken until he spies the all-new 2017 Fiat 124 Spider. He clamors out of the window, slides down the house’s downspout, and races away in the Spider to get more.

As he drives along to the music stylings of Dean Martin’s “Papa Loves Mambo”—was there ever a better choice for this commercial’s background music?—he discovers that he doesn’t actually need that little blue pill anymore.

Who knew driving a Fiat was that exciting?

As he enters the bedroom after discovering that there’s no need for special medicine to get him in the mood, he proudly announces “We’re back!” This is a nod to the Fiat 124 Spider’s return to the United States.

Along with “No Blue Pill Needed,” Fiat has also released another commercial titled “Free Like a Bird,” which features a white-tailed eagle.

The 2017 Fiat 124 Spider will return to help the Fiat brand expand across North America. This roadster was originally introduced to North America 50 years ago. Its lineup includes the Classica, which will have an MSRP of $24,995; the Lusso, which will sell for $27,495; and the Abarth, which has a $28,195 MSRP.
