The Power Wheels Smart Drive Mustang was developed by Fisher-Price using design data used to create the actual Mustang. It features the new Smart Drive system, which utilizes the first computer-controlled powertrain ever used in a Power Wheels vehicle to provide unbelievable features including traction control, stability monitoring, speed control, battery monitoring, and slow start/stop functionality. The Smart Drive system makes to make it exceedingly safe to drive without limiting the fun factor one iota.

“Mustang is one of our best-selling sports cars,” says Gary Collins, senior manager of design, Power Wheels. “For the Smart Drive Mustang, we wanted to amp up the realistic driving experience to make the feeling of getting behind the wheel even more thrilling for kids.”
