A large SUV can make for a rough, bumpy ride, but driving the next-gen Cadillac Escalade is going to be more comfortable than previous models. The Escalade will be getting a new independent rear suspension and platform for its next chapter in the automotive industry.
Expect to see this Escalade keeping its bulky design, but updates like an updated grille and rear fascia will likely make up some of its offerings. Spy shots by Carscoops.com leave much to the imagination as Cadillac conveniently covers up much of the exterior with camouflage.
Learn More: About Cadillac through the years
The wait for this eight-passenger SUV debut extends into late 2020, as Cadillacsociety.com claims from an anonymous source that the 2020 year model will get minor changes, including a new color.
Like the current model, a 6.2-liter V8 engine generates 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. It will likely welcome a plug-in hybrid powertrain and 4.2-liter V8 from the CT6 model.
