March 2017 might seem like it is a long way off—particularly if you’re the kind of person who generally does not care for snow. If you are a LEGO® and auto enthusiast, then it certainly cannot get here soon enough given that Ford has revealed the two latest vehicles to be rendered lovingly in blocks. It won’t quite be the same size as the enormous Ford GT that was built to celebrate Ford’s return to Le Mans, but it’ll do.

Ford has announced that the Le Mans-winning duo of the 1966 Ford GT40 and 2016 Ford GT will be available for purchase on LEGO.com/shop starting on March 1st for the recommended retail price of $29.99 for a set including both vehicles. That means that it won’t go on sale until we’re a full two months clear from the holiday season, but there’s no harm in asking for an IOU if you’ve got a family member who keeps pestering you about what gift you want.

The latest LEGO Speed Champions set follows the release of the LEGO F-150 Raptor and Mustang sets earlier this year, and it will include both Le Mans-winning Fords along with drivers, checkered flag, and a trophy. If you’re looking to use this set to recreate Ford’s 24 Hours of Le Mans glory, all you’ll be missing is a podium and a couple of grumpy Ferrari driver figures to sulk around in the background.

“Many people in my team grew up with the legend of Ford’s history-making 1966 victory—and experienced the excitement of building and design for the first time through LEGO bricks,” said Dave Pericak, global director, Ford Performance. “This kit is a powerful way to tell our Le Mans story, and will hopefully inspire the race drivers, engineers, and designers of the future.”

“This was a dream project – with a lot of pressure. The Ford GT40 is one of the most iconic race cars of all time, and the new Ford GT is just incredible,” said Craig Callum, head of design, LEGO Speed Champions. “Designed for children, but with grown-ups fans in mind too, we know these models will be closely scrutinized for authenticity.”

Check out this video of Callum putting together the kit, wipe the drool from your chin, and set aside that $30 pronto.
