Listed by ESPN.com at 6-feet 5-inches tall and weighing 245 pounds, it makes sense that NFL player Cam Newton would need a full size truck like a custom 2012 Chevy Silverado.

Newton shared a picture of his “War Eagle” truck on Instagram, which gave his fans a good look at the 30-inch Forgiato Andata wheels and Flat Blue paint job that’s been added to his Chevy. The vehicle was reportedly painted by Johnny Salters at Salter’s Custom Paint and Body in Monetta, South Carolina.
A new sound system was also added to Newton’s Silverado, which you can hear by playing the YouTube video below. If you don’t recognize the music being played in the beginning of the video, then we’ll be nice and let you know it’s by the rapper Fetty Wap, who is still healing after being involved in a motorcycle accident last month.
The 2012 Chevy Silverado came available with a 6.2-liter V8 engine and six-speed automatic transmission, which combined to produce up to 403 horsepower and 417 lb-ft of torque.
Newton might have decided to reward himself with this custom Chevy truck, since he has led the Carolina Panthers to perfect 9 and 0 record so far this season. Newton and the Panthers will be playing the Washington Redskins this Sunday, November 22nd.
