Nissan’s large plant in Canton, Mississippi is the home of manufacturing for the sixth generation Altima. Over the past 25 years of model history, more than 5.6 million vehicles have been built. While for many shoppers the Altima represents a safe choice, Nissan hopes to revitalize its image with updated exterior styling and two new engine options. This Altima is the first Nissan sedan in the US to come available with Intelligent All-Wheel Drive, and it also has an impressive list of standard safety technologies.
