Nissan Division delivered sales totaling 122,959 vehicles in November, a 19.3% year-over-year improvement from 2016 and good for a new record for the month. Nissan saw a 5.7% jump in domestically-produced car sales and a 14.1% jump in domestically-produced truck sales in the month, as well as a 75.8% increase in import truck sales. Nissan’s trucks, SUVs, and crossovers also combined to set a new November record with a total increase of 34%.
Total Nissan truck sales totaled 71,969 vehicles, up 33.6% from November 2016. The Nissan Rogue paved the way with sales totaling 36,080 vehicles, up 35.5% year-over-year and good for a new November record. With a 10.6% boost and sales totaling 8,393 vehicles, Murano also set a new best-ever November mark, as well as the Nissan NV (up 19.2% at 1,422 vehicles) and NV200 (up 7% at 1,459 vehicles).
Nissan’s trucks, Frontier and Titan, both saw big gains. The former was up 38.2% with 7,053 delivered, and the latter was up 130.7% with 7,769 delivered. Nissan Armada sales were also on the upswing, growing 89.5% year-over-year at 3,293 sold.
Nissan car sales were up 3.7% at 50,990 delivered, thanks to double-digit growth from Sentra and Maxima. The former was up 25.2% at 17,565 sold, and the latter was up 51.3% at 6,193 sold.
Nissan Group sales were up 18.1%, also a November record, at 135,985 vehicles delivered. INFINITI sales were up 7.5% at 13,026 vehicles.
To date, Nissan Division’s sales have grown 2.1% at 1,318,202 vehicles. Truck sales are up 16.4% over 11 months, led by triple-digit growth from Titan and Armada and 25.5% growth from Rogue.
