Introduction
Over recent years, we’ve seen SUVs transform from angular, truck-based models to curvy and efficient crossover models. The same goes for the Nissan Pathfinder, but Nissan took it one step further, introducing the first-ever Pathfinder Hybrid not too long ago, meeting the increasing demand for efficient and eco-friendly vehicles.
History
The Nissan Pathfinder has a rich history, going all the way back to its launch in 1986. In 2013, the company introduced the 2014 model year Pathfinder Hybrid model.
Efficiency
The all-new Pathfinder Hybrid uses Nissan’s Intelligent Dual Clutch System, which manages power from the electric motor and the gas engine to provide performance similar to the non-hybrid Pathfinder’s 3.5-liter V6 performance ratings of 260 hp and 240 lb-ft of torque.
The new hybrid is rated at 25 mpg city and 28 mpg highway.
New SL Tech Package
Nissan’s new technology package is available to certain trim levels and includes features like Bose® 13-speaker premium Audio System Nissan Navigation System, voice recognition, XM NavTraffic and NavWeather capability, Zagat® Restaurant Survey, Bluetooth® Streaming Audio, and an 8 inch touchscreen display.
