Commercial drivers rejoice: Opel’s Vivaro and Movano CVs can henceforth be ordered with Navi 80 IntellLink with real-time traffic. Operable via a seven-inch color touchscreen, steering wheel-mounted buttons, or intuitive voice control, Navi 80 IntellLink can provide drivers with up-to-the-second traffic information and, in instances where traffic has become prohibitive, provide a quicker alternative route.

“The real-time traffic function of the new Navi 80 IntelliLink is especially interesting for traders,” said Steffen Raschig, Opel/Vauxhall Director, Commercial Vehicles. “The timely traffic congestion warnings help them save time, which is an important expense factor. The new connected navigation system helps Vivaro and Movano drivers save money.”

Navi 80 IntellLink uses TomTom Live Services, which employs radio-based Traffic Message Channel data for continuous evaluation of traffic and weather information to provide drivers with the most efficient route to their destination. It also offers the latest in connectivity, providing access to music and podcasts on your smartphone via Bluetooth® or USB connection and displaying everything from contacts and recent calls to photos and videos on the screen when connected.

Additionally, drivers with Navi 80 IntelliLink and a compatible Apple product can access Siri Eyes Free voice control for easier access. The system also provides drivers with a point of interest function that displays nearby shops and restaurants to help provide a quick respite from the road.

To upgrade the Opel Vivaro or Movano with Navi 80 IntelliLink, drivers can expect to pay a respective €1,150 or €1,500. Those wanting to add additional DAB+ digital radio will pay an additional €120.
