Starting off the New Year with a bang, Infiniti sold 9,658 vehicles in January 2015, which was a 7.3% increase over January of the previous year. This huge jump in sales was led by a number of Infiniti crossovers, including the QX80, which sold 1,248 models compared to 1,023 in January 2013 for a percentage increase of 22.
Other superstar models in January included the Q70 performance sedan, whose sales increased a whopping 28.2%; the QX80 crossover, which was up 22%; and the Q60, which increased its sales year-over-year by 12.8%. The crossover segment was up 7.7%, selling a total of 4,570 vehicles in January 2015 compared to 4,245 in the same month of 2014. Infiniti cars were also up by 7%, with 5,088 sales compared to 4,753 in the previous period.
After a fairly uneventful December, Infiniti’s January 2015 sales increase is sure to put a little pep in the automaker’s step. Now, it just has to continue to grow for the next 11 months, and 2015 should be a great year!
