“With the Forte’s best-ever October sales and three additional models realizing double-digit sales growth, we are confident that Kia’s sales momentum will remain positive well into the first quarter of 2019,” said Bill Peffer, vice president, sales operations, KMA.
The 2019 Kia Forte is available at four trim levels: FE, LXS, S, and EX. It features a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine mated to the standard six-speed manual transmission or available Intelligent Continuously Variable Transmission with Sportmatic® to churn out 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque. It features standard Hill Start Assist Control, Brake Assist System, Electronic Stability Control, Vehicle Stability Management, and a Traction Control System.
The 2019 Kia Rio is available at two trim levels: LX and S. The popular subcompact model features a 1.6-liter GDI engine that generates 130 horsepower and 119 lb-ft of torque while earning a fuel efficiency rating of 37 mpg on the highway.
The 2019 Kia Niro is available at five trim levels: FE, LX, EX, S Touring, and Touring. Each trim is equipped with a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine and full parallel hybrid system paired to a dual clutch six-speed automatic transmission with Sportmatic®. It pumps out 139 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque.
The 2019 Kia Sportage is available at three trim levels: LX, EX, and SX Turbo. It features two engine options, a 181 horsepower-rated 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine and the 240 horsepower-rated 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine.
The positive October sales of these four models are an impressive jumping off point for Kia’s continued market success.
“This upward trajectory will be bolstered by the wide variety of new product introductions Kia has scheduled over the coming months that will continue driving traffic and attracting new customers to the Kia brand,” said Peffer.
