The GMC Acadia is on track for a refresh in 2020, but the popular mid-size crossover will still be receiving a handful of changes for the 2019 model year.
GMC is taking away three Acadia colors for 2019: Mineral Metallic, Crimson Red Tintcoat, and Black Cherry Metallic. Meanwhile, the Acadia is gaining four more colors: Dark Sky Metallic, Smokey Quartz Metallic, Pepperdust Metallic, and Red Quartz Metallic.
Also on the exterior, the Acadia’s SLE-2 and SLT-1 trims are getting P235/65R18 all-season blackwall tires.
Inside the 2019 GMC Acadia, the SLE-2 and SLT-1 trims will gain Express Up and Down driver’s side window controls. The dealer-installed Rear Seat Entertainment System will be deleted.

At the package level, the recently introduced Acadia Black Edition will be offered for the SLT trim. This special edition will include 20-inch machined aluminum wheels with black accents, black headlamp and taillamp accents, a black grille insert and black surround, black roof rails, black mirror caps, and other exterior accents. The Black Edition will come in a choice of these five colors: Ebony Twilight Metallic, Dark Sky Metallic, Smokey Quartz Metallic, White Frost Tricoat, or Summit White.
In addition, the Ebony interior color will now be offered as part of the SLT’s All-Terrain package.
Now in its second generation, the GMC Acadia is due for a mid-cycle refresh in 2020. Changes for that model year are expected to include the powertrain and the exterior.
