Toyota FJ Cruiser Trail Teams Ultimate Edition: Going Out with a Bang
After announcing that they will no longer be producing the FJ Cruiser, most people would expect Toyota to push the SUV brand aside without a second thought in favor of looking toward a potential replacement. Well, those people would be wrong. With the end of production for the Toyota FJ Cruiser fast approaching, the Japanese carmaker decided to have one last hurrah, producing 2,500 of the Toyota FJ Cruiser Trail Teams Ultimate Edition set to hit dealerships in February 2014.
Called the toughest and most capable FJ ever, the Ultimate Edition SUV has a one-of-a-kind white grill frame and a specific blue coloring. It also has an off-road suspension with Toyota Racing Development springs and Bilstein race shocks, along with a plethora of other features geared toward attracting off-roading enthusiasts looking to get one last, luxurious taste of the FJ Cruiser.
Though we remain sad to see it go, we think that the Toyota FJ Cruiser Trail Teams Ultimate Edition is a pretty great way to end the FJ Cruiser era. Do you agree?
