When you’re preparing for a road trip, an epic shopping trip, or picking up materials for a home improvement project, you need an SUV with a lot of cargo room. And if you’re behind the wheel of the 2018 Nissan Armada,  you’ll have plenty of space for whatever you need, according to the U.S. News & World Report editors who listed the spacious ride on their Top 20 list of 2018 SUVs with the Most Cargo Space.

Although the available 95.4 cubic feet of space with seats down is comparable to the other SUVs on the market, it’s the Armada’s versatility that caught the attention of the editors, according to U.S. News & World Report Writer Kristen Hall-Geisler. The 2018 Armada features a standard split-folding third row, and to make loading and unloading less taxing, the Armada offers an available power liftgate.

“Power-folding third-row seating is also available, but the button can be reached by anyone sitting back there. If your kids are button-pushers, you want to be aware that they might hit it ‘on accident,’” notes Hall-Geisler.

The 2018 Nissan Armada comes in three trim levels: SV, SL, and Platinum. Each trim is powered by a 5.6-liter DOHC 32-valve V8 engine paired to a seven-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode and Downshift Rev Matching to earn a horsepower rating of 390 and 394 lb-ft of torque.

For added security on the road, the 2018 Armada features a long list of available driver-assist technologies including Intelligent Rear View Mirror, Intelligent Cruise Control, Blind Spot Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, and Intelligent Blind Spot Intervention.
