The 2018 Dodge Durango SRT® has secured a spot on WardsAuto “10 Best User Experience List for 2017” due to its user-friendly, innovative and modern technology, according to Kevin E. Frazier, of FCA North America Media.
“The Dodge Durango SRT® presents a dazzling array of graphical elements, including a smoky SRT animation at startup and shutdown, a slick 3-D navigation map and an equally colorful TFT gauge cluster,” said Tom Murphy, Senior Editor of WardsAuto. “An SRT button at the base of the center stack triggers a series of Performance Pages to help drivers tap into the vehicle’s prodigious performance and set the transmission, stability control, suspension, steering and all-wheel-drive systems to their liking.”
Twenty-three vehicles were evaluated by WardsAuto editors, who monitored each vehicle’s driver assistance technology, sound systems, infotainment features, user-friendliness, system compatibility and materials, and information/displays.
The 2018 Dodge Durango SRT® features an 8.4-inch touchscreen display, Uconnect® 4C, SiriusXM® Travel Link Service with five-year subscription, SiriusXM® Traffic™ Service with five-year subscription, Beats™ Premium Audio System, Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ compatibility. It is powered by a 6.4-liter HEMI® V8 engine that is expertly paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, which generates 475 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque.
