We’ve See It Before: McConaughey Lincoln Ad Grabs Most Views Again

This may be old news or déjà vu, but the McConaughey Lincoln ad is at the top of the viewing charts once again. “Ultimate Control” continues to perch itself atop iSpot.tv’s most-view car commercials list.

According to Wards Auto, the commercial collected about 289 million TV ad impressions during the week of Feb. 18. Its “Attention Score” was just above 87, and its “Attention Index” was 81.

The ad is paying off for Lincoln at its expense. With an estimated $5,253,547 in TV spend, “Ultimate Control” beat out the likes of Toyota, Buick, and Hyundai — all in the top five.

In the ad, actor Matthew McConaughey reminds us how cool he is with a fancy move in a game of pool. Nothing should surprise us anymore though. He has gone to space, stood down a bull, and is a sick drummer. So we get it. He is very cool.

The commercial also goes onto show off how cool the all-new 2019 Nautilus is to drive with its Lane Keeping System, Blind Spot Detection, and Co-Pilot360 technology.

While the woman at the end of the commercial says, “I’ve never seen that before,” we can follow suit with McConaughey.

We have seen it. We have seen it a lot, and all we can do is cheer on McConaughey to do another sequel in his Lincoln advertising campaign.
