All 2013 Journey trims (except the Crew and R/T) are powered by a standard 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that creates 173 hp and 166 lb-ft of torque.A 3.6-liter V6 comes standard on the Crew and R/T trims, and is an optional upgrade on the SXT. The 3.6-liter V6 put out an impressive 283 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque.

The Journey is a great choice for fuel-conscious buyers. The 2.4-liter four cylinder achieves an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 19 mpg city, 26 mpg highway, and 22 mpg combined. The more powerful V6 gets 17 mpg city, 25 mpg highway, and 20 mpg combined with front-wheel drive. All-wheel-drive will drop those numbers about one mpg each.
