“We started the year off on the right foot. First, we announced the launch of 2017 Chevrolet Colorado, and now we can confirm that Chevrolet Cheyenne Midnight Edition will be in showrooms next week,” said Roberto Lerma, Chevrolet’s Marketing Manager, SUVs, Pickups, and Commercial Vehicles. “Last year we positioned ourselves as leaders in the segment of large pickups, and in 2017, we want to continue with the same line—Find New Roads—now offering 250 units of this exclusive and limited version.”
The 2017 Cheyenne Midnight Edition will be offered with the Cheyenne High Country’s 6.2-liter V8 engine mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, granting it an output of 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. It will be equipped with the Cheyenne Z71’s off-road suspension, making it perfectly capable of handling rough terrain.
Consistent with its Midnight Edition moniker, the exterior and interior will be draped in black—everything from the fenders, front fascia, mirrors, handles, and badges. The black motif also carries over onto 18-inch black aluminum wheels wrapped in Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac® off-road tires.
On the inside, the Cheyenne Midnight Edition gets a standard eight-inch color touchscreen, Bose® sound system with amplifier, and Blu-ray/DVD player with wireless headphone.
