US News & World Report Names 2016 GMC Yukon the Best Large SUV for Families
The Yukon’s many family-friendly features helped it win this prestigious award

Considering that the 2016 GMC Yukon comes standard with a Bose premium sound system, Apple CarPlay compatibility, and seating for up to nine people, it shouldn’t come as a huge surprise the new Yukon was named Best Large SUV for Families by US News & World Report.

Factors that US News & World Report took into consideration when evaluating vehicles for this award included: Availability of family-friendly features, overall sentiment of professional automotive reviews, seating and cargo volume, as well as safety and reliability ratings.
The 2016 GMC Yukon carries a starting MSRP of $48,325 and comes standard with a 355 horsepower V8 engine, which adds performance to compliment the Yukon’s spacious and tech-savvy interior. To keep children entertained, the Yukon offers advanced entertainment features, such as a rear-seat Blu-ray entertainment system and Wi-Fi hotspot. In addition, the Yukon comes with the latest safety features to help ensure the entire family remains safe. Those safety features include a rearview camera, forward collision warning, and lane keeping assist.
