2014 Buick US Sales Wrap-Up: Creeping Toward a Quarter-Million
Buick sold 228,963 vehicles in the United States in 2014, good for an 11.4% improvement over full-year sales from 2013. Buick models performed better than their counterparts from the previous year almost entirely across the board, with both the Enclave and Encore experiencing their best sales year ever. Buick’s retail sales totaled 196,572, up 6.6% from 2013.

The Enclave was the brand leader, posting sales of 62,300 units in the US, up 2.9% over 2013. The Encore was Buick’s fastest-rising model, climbing from 31,956 sales in 2013 to 48,892 sales in 2014.
The LaCrosse added in sales totaling 51,468 units—a 5.5% increase from 2013. The Regal was up 20.7% with sales of 22,560 vehicles, and the Verano moved 43,743 units.

The 228,963 vehicle total marks Buick’s best full-year performance since 2006. For comparison, Buick’s sales in Canada for all of 2014 totaled 18,745, the best sales total from Canada also since 2006.
Buick has posted year-over-year gains in 10 out of 12 months during 2014, making 24 months of growth in the United States in the past 29.
