There are two available engine options for the 2014 Chrysler 200 Convertible. The first is a 2.4-liter four-cylinder that produces 173 horsepower and 166 lb-ft of torque. The second is a 3.6-liter V6 that gets a big boost in power with 283 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque, capable of reaching 60 from a standstill in 7.5 seconds. The only transmission available is a six-speed automatic.

For the four-cylinder engine, the convertible has an EPA-estimated mpg of 21 combined, while the six-cylinder returns 22 mpg combined.

An available 6.5-inch touchscreen allows the driver to stay connected and control both the audio and navigation interfaces with ease. Government crash tests have awarded the 200 sedan with four out of five stars for overall vehicle safety, while the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave the 200 convertible its highest possible rating of “Good” in the moderate-overlap frontal-offset and side-impact tests. Standard safety features for the convertible include antilock brakes, traction and stability control, active head restraints, front side airbags, and front-seat-mounted side airbags with head protections.
