Today’s pickups are built for the toughest, dirtiest jobs we can throw at them. It stands to reason that luxurious appointments and near sleep-inducing comfort aren’t at the forefront of most truck designers’ minds. Chevrolet seeks to change that notion, however, for those drivers who are concerned with luxury and comfort with the introduction of the all-new 2015 Silverado High Country HD, the brand’s first premium heavy-duty pickup.
The 2015 Silverado High Country HD takes the luxury and convenience drivers might recognize from the Silverado 1500 High Country and matches it with the extreme capability of the Silverado 2500HD and 3500HD pickups. Features for the High Country HD models include 6-inch tubular chrome assist steps, body-color front and rear bumpers (Chevy’s CornerStep rear bumper included), and a chrome grill with horizontal bars. High Country badging will be slapped on the doors and tailgate, and the logo will find its way onto the door sill plates.

The interior of the 2015 Silverado High Country HD is marked by an exclusive saddle brown interior. Bose premium audio, Chevy MyLink connectivity (featuring an 8-inch touch screen), front and rear park assist, and heated and cooled perforated premium leather front bucket seats are standard. The bucket seats and their headrests will feature the High Country logo found on the door sill plates.
Drivers of the 2500HD High Countries will get 20-inch chrome wheels, while single-rear-wheel 3500HD models will sit on 18-inch chrome wheels. Dual-rear-wheel 3500HDs, on the other hand, will ride on 17-inch forged polished aluminum wheels. Drivers can also opt for some available features, including a navigation system, a rear-seat entertainment system (featuring a BluRay/DVD player), and a sunroof. An optional High Country Premium Package offers a heated steering wheel, power adjustable pedals, and a driver alert package.

Perhaps most exciting for the 2015 Silverado High Country HD are the all-new up-level trailer tow mirrors, which can by manually extended when drivers have wider trailers. These mirrors feature power adjust with memory and power fold.
Under the hood, the High Country HD is built exactly like the standard HD models.
The 2015 Silverado High Country HD will go on sale this summer.
