The Mercedes-Benz CLA is available with a powerful 375 horsepower turbo engine that enables the CLA to rocket from 0 to 60 mph in a mere 4.1 seconds. The new CLA competes in the same segment as the 2016 Audi A3 and 2016 Volkswagen GTI.

What’s New for the 2016 Mercedes-Benz CLA ?
The 2016 Mercedes-Benz CLA is now available with extendable front seat thigh cushions and optional suspension dampers. The AMG CLA45 model is also available with an AMG Dynamic Plus package that features a higher top-speed limiter, adaptive suspension, and limited-slip font differential.

The exterior of the 2016 Mercedes-Benz CLA offers a sleek and bold design, complete with unique lines, and audacious crevices. The 2016 CLA coupe comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, LED taillamps, and rain-sensing wipers. A rear spoiler and panoramic sunroof are available as stand-alone options. Exterior color options include Polar Silver Metallic, Jupiter Red, Night Black, Cirrus White, and Northern Lights Violet Metallic.

2016 Mercedes-Benz CLA Performance
There are two engine options available for the 2016 Mercedes-Benz CLA. The base CLA250 and 4MATIC trims come equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo engine rated at 208 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. Both models feature a seven-speed DCT dual-clutch automatic transmission. The more expensive AMG CLA45 is powered by a handcrafted AMG 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo engine good for a whopping 375 horsepower and 358 lb-ft of torque. The 2016 AMG CLA45 is able to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.1 seconds.

Fuel economy is different of all three trim levels of the 2016 Mercedes-Benz CLA:
- The FWD CLA250 yields EPA-estimated fuel economy of 26 mpg in the city and 38 mpg on the highway.
- The AWD 4Matic offers EPA-estimated fuel efficiency of 24 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway.
- The AMG CLA45 produces EPA-estimated fuel economy of 23 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway.

The interior of the 2016 Mercedes-Benz CLA is both stylish and relaxed. The CLA coupe comes standard with a 12-way power driver seat with memory, split-folding rear seats, and dual-zone automatic climate control. 2016 Mercedes-Benz CLA Safety
The 2016 Mercedes-Benz CLA has not undergone safety tests for either the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) or the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). Standard safety features on the new CLA include antilock brakes and stability and traction control. The 2016 Mercedes-Benz CLA is also available with a Driver Assistance package, which includes lane departure warning, lane departure intervention, blind-spot monitoring, and adaptive cruise control.
