2016 Volt Reveal Could Be Scheduled As Soon As November
The all-new 2016 Volt reveal date has not been officially announced by General Motors, but an inside source (who, per usual, wished to remain anonymous) reported to AutoblogGreen that the automaker is going to unveil the new model at some point during the upcoming auto show circuit. This could mean we could see it as early as the Los Angeles Auto Show this November, though it could also mean that we’ll have to wait until April of 2015 when the New York Auto Show goes up.
The source told AutoblogGreen that GM would be making the official announcement sometime next week. But that’s not all that GM will be announcing, oh no. Reportedly, the General will also be officially announcing the movement of Volt production from a Mexican facility to one back home in Michigan.
Of course, this is all up in the air at the moment. We won’t know for certain until next week if this secret source had any idea what he or she was talking about. Until then, we shall all sleep happily with the hope that the 2016 Volt reveal will be announced next week—and that it will come shortly after this November.
