2020 Chevrolet Silverado HD Will Feature 5 Trim Levels
The High Country is one of five trims levels for the all-new 2020 Chevrolet Silverado HD
Chevrolet has announced five trim levels for the all-new 2020 Silverado HD, giving customers more customization options for their trucks.
The Silverado HD will be available in Work Truck, Custom, LT, LTZ, and High Country trims for the new model year.
Each of these trim levels will feature exclusive design elements for the grille and exterior trim. They’ll also offer a wide range of options for features and technology.
Chevy has already followed this strategy with the 2019 Silverado 1500, which is available in an expanded eight trim levels.

Each 2020 Silverado HD trim offers a different level of design, features, and technology to meet the needs of a wide range of customers
“Truck customers are very clear: They want the perfect truck for them and not a ‘one size fits most’ truck compromised for the masses,” said Mike Simcoe, vice president of GM Global Design. “That insight shaped our strategy for the next-generation Silverado franchise, providing customers more differentiation between the Silverado 1500 and the Silverado HD as well as more personalization and differentiation between individual trim levels.”
The new Silverado HD will feature a bold, intimidating face and unique design to make it immediately stand apart from the Silverado 1500. It will be available with a new gas engine and a Duramax turbo-diesel V8, new trailering technology, and higher towing and payload capabilities.
“We took into account every detail of what customers expect, and how they will use their truck,” Simcoe said. “The results are unique versions of the Silverado HD equally at home working on a construction site or pulling a camping trailer.”
According to Chevy, the 2020 Silverado HD should be available at dealerships by mid-2019.
