The 2021 Chevrolet Colorado made its debut this month, showing off rugged, dynamic new looks and more variation from trim to trim.
Every 2021 Colorado model features a new, redesigned bowtie emblem in front and a new tailgate spanned by embossed “CHEVROLET” lettering.
The WT and LT are differentiated with gold front bowtie logos, and the Z71 gets a black one. All three of these trims receive new center bars, lower fascias, and front skid plates.
“We’ve sold 520,000 Colorado pickups in five years through a relentless, foot-on-the-gas approach to product and feature updates,” said Bob Krapes, director of marketing for Chevrolet Trucks. “With its new-look front end and tailgate, Colorado will now have a more aggressive appearance to match its award-winning capability.”

Chevy is also planning a dramatic makeover for its 2021 Colorado ZR2 off-road performance model, which will be unveiled at next month’s SEMA Show in Las Vegas. This muscular Colorado variant will sport a tougher-looking hood, better front visibility, and new flow-through “CHEVROLET” lettering on its front fascia, setting it apart from the model’s other trims.
New red tow hooks will join the ZR2’s many other off-road features, which include electronic front and rear locking differentials, an Autotrac transfer case, a 2-inch suspension lift, Multimatic DSSV position-sensitive dampers, cast-iron control arms, off-road rocker protection, and extra skid plates.
The 2021 Chevrolet Colorado and Colorado ZR2 are expected to show up at dealerships sometime next year.
