Badlands Off Road Park

Hours of Operation: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday-Sunday

Location: 3968 N. Xavier Rd, Attica, IN 47918

Cost of Admission: $25 day pass, $60 weekend pass (for drivers 12 years and older); $20 day pass, $50 weekend pass (for drivers 6-11 years of age)

Types of Vehicles Allowed: 4x4s, ATVs, dirt bikes

Conquer more than 800 acres of diverse terrain when you head to Badlands Off Road Park in Attica. Build memories with friends as you brave the challenges of mud, sand dunes, gravel, and rocks. The park’s prioritization of safety and sobriety make it a popular destination for families. If you’re riding an SUV, 4×4, or side-by-side, explore the Rock Quarry/SUV Park zone. If you’re manning an ATV or bike, however, head to the MX Track area.


Haspin Acres


Hours of Operation: 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily

Location: 21208 Laurel Rd., Laurel, IN 47024

Cost of Admission: $20 day pass (for guests 16 years of age and older); $10 per day (for guests 8-15 years of age); Children 7 years old and younger get in for free

Types of Vehicles Allowed: UTVs, buggies, trucks, dirt bikes, quads

Located in the woods and hills of Laurel, Haspin Acres extends over 750 acres. The motocross track caters to quad and bike enthusiasts, while drivers of buggies, trucks, and UTVs will want to stay in the off-road zone of the park. Besides trails, you can also brave the Mud Bog Pits and Drag Strip areas, for an extra challenge.


Lawrence County Recreational Park

Hours of Operation: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday-Sunday (Apr. through Oct.); 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday & Sunday (Nov. through March)

Location: 99 Moore Lane, Springville, IN 47462

Cost of Admission: $10.00 day pass (ABATE members); $15.00 day pass (non-members); $5.00 day pass (children under 13 years of age)

Types of Vehicles Allowed: ATVs, UTVs, dirt bikes

Hit the trails at Lawrence County Recreational Park, a 400-acre wilderness of meadows, woods, and hills designed for off-roading thrills. A variety of routes cater to different skill levels, whether you’re new to the sport or have been an expert for years. The site also includes an RV Park, in case you want to stay overnight with your family in the great outdoors.
