Hours of Operation: Noon to Dusk on Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday

Located just 40 minutes north of Athens, Tecumseh Trails Offroad sprawls over more than 1,000 acres of hilly landscape. Explore more than 45 miles of trails of varying difficulty to suit a variety of skill levels. Bring whatever width of ATV, UTV, or dirt bike to enjoy the clearly-marked paths. Grab a snack at the onsite food trailer when you’re hungry.


Phoenix Off-Road Park

Hours of Operation: Open on select weekends for special events

Location: 3250 County Road 26, Wintersville, Ohio 43953

Cost of Admission: $25 day pass; $40 weekend pass

Types of Vehicles Allowed: ATVs, UTVs, SUVs/jeeps (registered), dune buggies/sand rail 4x4s (unregistered), motorcycles, dirt bikes

Head 14 minutes south of Steubenville to conquer the wild trails that Phoenix Off-Road Park offers. It provides 1,020 acres and 60 miles of trails to suit beginner and experienced off-roaders. Southington Off-Road Park


Hours of Operation: 9 a.m. to dusk on Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday

Location: 10321 Silica Sand Rd, Garrettsville, OH 44231

Cost of Admission:  $25 Vehicle & Driver/$5 per passenger (day pass);
$40 Vehicle & Driver/$5 per passenger (weekend pass); Children 15 years and under are free

Types of Vehicles Allowed: SUVs/Jeeps (registered) and dune buggies/sand rail 4x4s (unregistered)

Garrettsville is home to this 1,500-acre off-road destination. Southington Off-Road Park has established a reputation for rugged paths as well as family-friendly amenities like a sand volleyball court and children’s playground. You can also camp onsite for an additional fee, if you want to make your outing a weekend excursion.
